Family Life and day to day events of the Crookston family...Well it would be some of the stuff we do every day, if I wasn't so busy doing the things I do daily. All in all just know that we are a happy family!

To The Left...To The Right
So, we went to most of the home USU Gymnastics meets. After the women get done while they are still calculating the scores a local little girls team usually comes out and does a little show. Most of the time when the little girls get done they let them stay on the floor and have the competing teams come back out and have any of the kids in the crowd come down and dance on the floor. Tyler likes that it is bouncy and tries to do flips. Andrew apparently has paid attention to the song and dance. They play Cupid's Shuffle. It says, "to the left, to the left, to the right, to the right..." Andrew was standing on the coffee table dancing and singing. He was singing Cupid's Shuffle and dancing the right direction. He told me, "Mom, this way is right." Now if he could just put his shoes on the right feet!

That's cute. You should get a video of that if you can.
Why is it so hard for kids to figure out what shoes goes on what foot? One thing I've found that helps is to draw a little star on each shoe on the inside side of the sole. Then you tell them to put the stars together to make sure they go on the right feet. Hopefully that makes sense, it's kind of hard to explain without being able to show you a shoe.
