Fish Out of Water

Thanks to lots of family and friends, we have been swimming a few times this summer. We have only been swimming together as a whole family once. (And I forgot the camera.) Between Lee being in a cast, Becca being pregnant, and Emma wearing a swim diaper, someone was always left out. Lee got lots of opportunities to take pictures.
On the day after we had been swimming one of the times, Andrew came into the bathroom where all the towels and swim suits were waiting to get washed. Andrew said, "I smell water."

This is the only picture I have of the hot tub, but Lee and Emma did get in too. (Becca's turn to sit out.)

This is with Becca's family at the cabin in Fairview. Because Emma had a diaper (yes, it was even a swim diaper) they wouldn't let her get in the pool. They had this little backyard pool set-up that she could get in. If any of you have been swimming with Emma, you can imagine how hard it was to keep her out of the big pool. She ended up sneaking away and jumping into the big pool at the end. My sister-in-law, Sarah, was about five feet away and got to her before the lifeguard even got off her chair. When Emma came up, she coughed out a little bit of water and then was all grins. She was pretty proud of herself! She has no fear.

Not Pictured: We also went swimming with Becca's family for FHE at her brother Matthew's new condo. They have a pool and we were hot. We were in Layton that day for Lee to get his cast off, but they decided to keep it on for another two weeks. So Lee sat out that time too.

Last Saturday we finally all swam together at the Aquatic park in Pocatello with Clay and Jessica Brown. After being there just over an hour the pool was evacuated because of lighting in the area. We had a great time anyway.

Thank you everyone for your help this summer!
