Party All Night Long!

Now that we have recovered from our lack of sleep last weekend, I can post about it. Our friends, the Jorgensen's, that moved two months ago came for a visit. They said they would come down on Saturday. We were planning on doing movie night and camping in the back yard on Friday night. It didn't take much arm twisting to get them to come down for Friday's adventures too.
After a spaghetti dinner, we went for a walk and then set up the tents and the movie screen/sheet. We had 27 people come watch "Cool Runnings" with us. I think that is a new record! After the movie we moved the sleeping kids to the tent and were enjoying the company of friends, so we decided to play games. Until 2:30am!
Emma woke up about 4:30am and wanted to explore the tent. It was light enough to see and she was already asleep when she got tucked in, so this was all new. Not much sleeping was happening.

Saturday morning the men cooked breakfast. We had lots of kinds of scrambled eggs and German pancakes.

The rest of the guys went to help the Parrish family move, Lee still has an "excuse" and couldn't help move, so he did the dishes, and I took a shower.
We played Frisbee Golf with a group of 17 people, we had a lot of other groups play thru. The kids all had their own Frisbees and so we went pretty slow. Lee was pretty funny to watch, because of his boot. When he would throw he would also loose his balance and have to do some type of skip thing for about five or 6 steps. Jeff would stand between Lee and a curb, so he could block him if he got too close to it. It was a hot day and so some of us, (all of the pregnant and nursing mothers) found a bench and sat in the shade. We made it to hole 6 or 7 and then the guys and Christina finished. We all had a lot of sun...I mean fun, well both.

After spaghetti leftovers for lunch (because I always cook too much food), the guys watched the kids and played X-box, and the gals went shopping and ran some errands.

We made snow cones before we could even start preparing dinner because it was so hot. That night we did dutch oven chicken, potatoes, corn on the cob, and two cobblers. We were not lacking for yummy food.

After dinner, we cleaned up and put the kids in bed and played more games. This time only until 1am. The next day at church, Tyler, Andrew, and Emma all fell asleep during sacrament meeting. We had so much fun!!
